Become a member of the AFBA!

It's affordable and enjoyable! Membership is only $15/year
All Members receive a membership card, get a discount on Shindigs, receive an Activity Calendar and Festival info in the mail, and are eligible to set up their campsite during the early setup weekend prior to the festival.
Purchase a membership by attending one of the AFBA’s shindigs or festival and registering at the membership table.
There are two levels of membership: Social and Active.  See the details below.

  • Anyone (age 13 and older) can join as a “Social Member.” All Social Members are invited to attend the monthly meetings to find out more about the workings of the AFBA.

  • To move from social membership to active membership you must attend six meetings in one calendar year, then be nominated by a current active member and voted in.

    Active Members are expected to attend monthly meetings, join a committee, assist at park cleanups, volunteer at shindigs, and work 12 festival hours.

    Active Members can be elected to serve as an officer or board member, and can setup a permanent campsite at Mountain View Park for an annual fee of $150.
