Hello all you bluegrass nut cases,
If you are coming to the park this Saturday
for the volunteer appreciation picnic
there are a couple of things you need to know:

1. The AFBA is involved in a fund raising program with Patrick’s Scrap Metal Service
(The Scrapper).
Save your dog food, tuna fish and beverage cans and bring them with you.
The Scrapper will take any small metal objects and recycle them.
The AFBA gets half the proceeds.
The Scrapper donates to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and us.
That means your metal donations help two non-profits.
So bring a garbage bag or more with rinsed out cans or other small metal objects.

2. If you are a member of the AFBA, you are a volunteer.
If you are in a band and you play at our Shindigs,
you are a volunteer.
Please bring food or beverages to share....
