I need some help finding teachers or bluegrass musicians in this area. I have tried internet only to find bands performances and as I started so late looking. I seemed to have missed festivals. Any help I can receive in this area would be greatly appreciated.

 One of AFBA members introduced me. I enjoy the lively sounds of guitar, banjo, and fiddle! I can play the acoustic guitar, but not well enough to be in a band. I also sing -- the bass part, which can sometimes be handy in a group with bluegrass music background.

Hi Bluegrassers! I was the artistic director at Godfrey Daniels for a bunch of years, and we've been talking about expanding our bluegrass and reaching out to the local bluegrass community. We've already got a free monthly bluegrass jam on the second Tuesday of each month, as well as an old-timey jam. I'd like to talk with someone about how we can make this happen.
I live on Peppermint Road, so I'm just a few minutes from the BW club. I'll try to be at the meeting next weekend, but since I'm getting a new hip on Monday, I might not make it!
