Please go to the Lehigh Valley Dobro Resophonic Guitar Association Web-site at lvdtga.org and vote for your favorite Dobro Player.....to receive the Dick Blattenberger Award in July at the Lehigh Valley Bluegrass Festival.
Also register at the lvdrga.org site and become an active member.

Don ..Randy Getz is your best opportunity for prewar Dobros. You could also be in touch with Tom Flynn ( slideman) for Historical data. If you go to Resohangout.com you can join that site and offer questions.

Have a prewar Dobro, bought in 77/78, no serial # Red/gold "Lyre" logo want to find out all about it,
case is damaged have orginal "brass"
What better association to call upon ???
Being reading Getz but not sure about certain terms when he decribes some of the parts
